Halloween

We had a wondrful time at Halloween this year. Jack and Luke got to trick-or-treat with their buds and Drew even had a friend to walk around with. Drew was Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Jack and Luke were "army guys".
We covered a lot of ground in Ladera and have a lot of candy to show for it!!!

October Beginnings

Luke turned 7 this year- he has gotten so big! We had a WWE Wrestling Themed party for him and his friends- it was a success!


Jack is playing competetive travel baseball for the Ladera Grays. His dad is the manager of the team. Check out www.LaderaGrays.com for up to date information.

1st Day of School

September is almost over and we are certainly in full swing at school. The first day of school was a success for our family. Jack entered 4th grade and Luke entered 1st grade. Drew also started a 2 year old class!

Summer's End

We took one last trip to the beach before summer officially came to a close.
It was a great day....

The Cool Backpack

It is official...Luke, at barely first grade, is already into what is "cool". I can't blame him...the Quicksilver, etc backpacks are the coolest, best looking and most functional. I tried to pass off a great backpack from Costco at the wonderful price of $14.99 but he wasn't having it...at least I tried. His brother has a "cool" backpack, so it is not like I am shocked.

Crazy Days of Summer

Whoever said they were the "Lazy Days of Summer"? No way...it is Crazy for us, for sure. Michael is coaching Jack's travel baseball team and Luke's AYSO soccer team...not to mention Jack is also playing soccer. I, of course, amd the de facto Team mom for the teams where dad is coach, and so goes the unpaid part time job.

We love it, though. We did not have kids to ignore them. We only have them for a short time and we are doing our best to cherish every second. Oh well if our dinner is the snack bar fare at the local sports park...Drew has lots of outdoor time and loves to play "hide and seek" while Jack does his infield practice.

Summer in Full Swing

This summer has been full of adventure already! Jack and Michael brought in the end of the baseball season with the Ladera Ranch Little League AA All Star Team where Jack played and Michael was the manager.



Drew celebrated her 2nd birthday in style.



I, once again, ran the Ladera 5k to start the 4th of July celebrations- beating my previous time by almost 2 minutes!



We had a lovely day and ended it with spectacular fireworks and friends.
