Adventures in Colorado

We decided to go visit Aunt Bev and Uncle Larry in Colorado Springs...it was a fun and memorable trip! We got to see our awesome cousins, Tyler, Anna and Jonathan an we hung out with Molly and Elijah, too! After landing in Colorado to unseasonably warm weather, we feared our "trip to the snow" would not happen....but it began to snow our first day there and it did not stop the rest of the trip! It was snowing while we took off from the Denver International Airport on Monday afternoon!

We made many memories...watching snow fall, playing pool, wrestling, skiing, great food at Hacienda, questionable food at Casa Bonita (questionable everything) and so much more....we also now know we can never move to Colorado....they do not sell liquor at grocery stores (say what??) Oh, and Larry, we love your BIG DECK!!!

Thanks Bev and Larry- it was a trip we will never forget!

Happy New Year and All That Good Stuff...

Well, here we are in 2009...my new saying is "Everything is fine in 2009"...I really plan to live that saying this coming year.
I have 11 resolutions for this coming year and one of them is to travel more...I think I am well on my way- we already have 2 trips booked- one to visit Uncle Larry and Aunt Bev in Colorado and the second trip is to Maui for a week with Michael's family!! I cannot wait! Here's to looking forward...but before we do, let's look back at some great last memories of 2008...
